15 years of Grupa Coincidentia
Bialystok-based independent theater Grupa Coincidentia, which runs the Solniki 44 stage, is celebrating fifteen years of its artistic activity. The artists associated with GC decided to celebrate their anniversary with meetings with the audience, presentations of selected achievements (live and online), and discussions. In October, November and December, Coincidentia has planned presentations of five selected titles from its repertoire. These will include both - acclaimed performances that have made their mark at many festivals of international scope, as well as the Group's newest proposals: “Straszka pospolita” (a family play enjoying ongoing success in Poland and abroad, exploited in three language versions), “Invisible” (a laboratory play for adults honored in the prestigious annual ranking of “Theater” monthly in the category of best off show), “Don Quixote” (the new, created in co-production with Poznan's Animation Theater, version of a play awarded by journalists and jury committees at festivals in Opole, Torun and Lodz), “Wall with a View” (a play awarded at festivals for direction, text, acting and music) and “Superheroes” (a fresh production created in cooperation between Coincidentia and Figurentheater Wilde&Vogel). The presentations will be combined with talks with the audience and moderated discussions among the creators. Some of the planned shows will be supplemented with audio-description.
