The Mother Wolf Edition - 3rd release of LasFest - predatory and tender like its patron - inspired by the animal inhabiting the forest surrounding Siedlisko Kultury Solniki 44, reminding of its presence with its nightly sniffing howl and the sporadic abductions of young cattle from the nearby meadows.
The WOLF became the inspiration of the third edition of the festival with its awe-inspiring predatory nature, excellent pack organization skills, strength and intransigence, arousing lofty sentiments and romantic attitudes in humans. The way the mother wolf takes care of her cubs is truly moving as she is perceived as a beautiful, strong and inaccessible animal.
The third edition of LasFest will be a meeting with high-rank art, which, despite its strength, rapaciousness, beauty and subtlety, remains hidden in various "creative forests" - places from which this form of art originates and from which it emerges from time to time, presents and catches new inspirations, generates respect and awe, then hides back in its natural environment.
LasFest will also be an encounter with art that leaves its mark, its genotype in the new generation of artists, infected by the wolf gene. The program of the Mother Wolf edition will include avangarde theatrical experiments, fierce explorations in puppetry addressed to adult audience, poetic hunting - attempts to capture ephemeral images and contemplations of the night sky decorated with rain shower of perseids, music combining wildness with harmony, and novelty...forest cinema.
Due to the pandemic situation this year we are putting on hold the “Species rarely found in Poland” category (foreign performances) and "Oak Forum" (meetings with artists). We will revive them within the next edition of the festival.
