LasKids 2026
Between 2 and 5 July 2026, the third edition of LasKids – Theatre Festival in the Forest will take place: an event dedicated to ambitious theatre and performing arts for children and young audiences. LasKids, the younger sibling of LasFest – International Theatre Festival in the Forest, provides a platform for exploratory and independent theatre, open to diverse forms of stage expression while remaining accessible and engaging for young viewers.
The festival is hosted by Siedlisko Kultury Solniki 44 – a cultural venue run by the artists of “Grupa Coincidentia”, a theatre located deep in the forest near Białystok, on the edge of the Knyszyn Forest. The unique character of this place — far from the noise of the city, close to nature, and conducive to genuine encounters between artists and audiences – gives.
The 2026 programme will include performances, workshops, exhibitions and concerts created by artists from Poland, Italy, Germany and Argentina. LasKids remains a space for dialogue between different approaches to theatre for young audiences: from stage and performative works, through music and visual arts, to projects that actively engage audiences in the creative process.
The festival is intended for children, but created with full awareness of the presence of adults — parents, guardians, educators and everyone interested in contemporary art for young audiences. LasKids demonstrates that theatre for children can be a space for artistic risk-taking, attentiveness and meaningful conversation about the world, rather than mere entertainment.

Co-financed from the funds of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, originating from the Culture Promotion Fund — a state special-purpose fund — and from the Municipality of Zabłudów. The partners of the project are the Podlaskie Voivodeship and the Podlasko-Mazurski Cooperative Bank in Zabłudów.
