The Małe Instrumenty group has been active for around 20 years, exploring the world of unusual musical instruments from the very beginning. Instead of guitars, pianos, violins or drum kits, their sound world features rare instruments such as the waterphone, daxophone, nail violin, Euphon and Cristal Baschet.
The group expands the idea of what a musical instrument can be, using intriguing musical toys, sound objects and handmade instruments. During the workshop, participants will be introduced to selected instruments, hear their stories and discover how they sound. Most importantly, they will be invited to try them out and create sounds themselves using these unusual objects.
