Jaś is an eight-year-old boy who spends most of his time with his mother. His dad works hard in a corporation. One day his dad doesn't come home from work on time. Concerned, Jaś and his mom decide to set out to find him. Meanwhile, Dad has a bizarre adventure. Driving to work, he doesn't get off at the right stop and ends up in the forest, which is located near the streetcar terminus. In the forest he meets mysterious characters: Kikimora, Domowik and Wydma. They are ghosts that in the old days used to inhabit people's homes and make life difficult for householders. However, since people stopped believing in them, the ghosts have moved to the forest. Having met a stray dad, they try to enchant him and make him forget about his family and stay with them in the forest. Johny and his mother begin the struggle to free dad from the power of the mischievous spirits. They will use a very old tune remembered by mom from her childhood to do so.
