Night of Shooting Stars

Kwartet Dworski was founded in 1998. The ensemble is made up of musicians from the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic. The Quartet's repertoire includes works from the 17th to the 20th centuries with a special emphasis on Polish music. In addition to compositions by Maciej Radziwill, Stanislaw Moniuszko, Zygmunt Noskowski, Mieczyslaw Karlowicz, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonin Dvořak, Johann Sebastian Bach, the ensemble also performs works of contemporary music such as string quartets by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki and Pawel Lukaszewski.
