The Peruvian duo Alejandro y María Laura are life and musical partners based in Valencia. Since 2011, they have released five albums featuring heartfelt songs such as Agüita del Equilibrio and Una fiesta cualquiera.
They have collaborated with artists like El Kanka, Andrea Echeverri (Aterciopelados), Kevin Johansen, Paulinho Moska, Perotá Chingó, Juan Campodónico, and Susana Baca.
Winners of the Ibermúsicas songwriting award, their music has been featured in the HBO series Encuentros en Brasil and on NPR’s World Café Live.
In 2022, they joined Calexico on their European tour and accompanied Silvana Estrada in the U.S. In 2024, they toured Latin America and Europe with their double album Dos Hemisferios.
